This Baltic Porter – Collab with Williams & Johnson Coffee Co. – was lagered in tank for four weeks prior to being aged in Irish Whiskey octaves. Maturing in these small casks provides a high surface area of oak to the beer, leading to more intense flavours.
Fresh cold brew Rwandan coffee, roasted the previous day by Williams & Johnson, was blended in during bottling. The result is a sweet vanilla and caramel base, gently supported by smooth and fruity espresso notes. (520 bottles only).
